Charles B. (CB) Masten, stoneware vase.  Masten worked at the Auman Pottery in Seagrove from 1928 – 1936, Creating outstanding pottery glazes and their applications. This vase has a nice cobalt blue glaze with a frog skin green interior. An example of this vase is shown in the North Carolina Art Pottery Book 1900 – 1960 by, A. Everette James, page 179. This example is also one of the pieces shown at the North Carolina State University Gallery of Art and Design. Condition is very good, no chips or cracks. Size 4-3/4” x 4-1/2
