Bertha Noyes, 1876 - 1966

 

Painter, Bertha Noyes was born in Washington, DC. In 1876. She was a member of many art groups including three in Massachusetts: The Boston Art Club, Newport Art Association, and Provincetown Art Association. Four in Washington, DC: Washington Watercolor Club, American Federation of Arts, Washington society of Artists, and the Art Groups of Washington. She was also a member of the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, New York City. Noyes studied at the Corcoran School of Art.
